Name

Assistant Lecturer:Haider R. Saud

Personal Overview

Research Interests & Statement
Nanochemistry, Nanocomposite, advanced oxidation processes (AOPs), Sonochemistry, Adsorption.

My research interests lie in the physical chemistry, particularly in nanoparticles, nanocomposites synthesis, and its environmental applications such as sonolycatalysis degradation, photo-degradation, and adsorption of toxic compounds.

Teaching

I teach at conceptual level making sure that students understand the finer details clearly of the theoretical and experimental physical chemistry. I have taught my 2rd year course in physical chemistry for 3 years and 1st year analytical chemistry for 4 years. I like teaching from PowerPoint slides followed by exercise or quiz to concertize what they have learned and gain insight into the subject. Usually, students come up with questions which will be addressed properly and thoroughly
